Undergraduate Research Projects
#1
I'm a biology major with an interest in biotechnology as a career. Right now I have the opportunity to work on one of two projects. The first is sponsored by our chemical and biological engineering department and has to do with creating and running a computer simulation of solvents for CO2 separation and capture. The other is sponsored by our biology department and involves creating a database for a very large amount of genotypes. I want to choose the one that more closely resembles whatever is typical in biotechnology. I'd appreciate any useful opinion. Thanks!

I think creating and running a computer simulation of solvents for CO2 separation and capture will be the better, it's my view. This is more implement oriented in biotechnology and in terms of scope also...
