I wish I can post images here but I think judging from all the electron micrographs I've seen of Ebola, they're perhaps one of the most morphologically beautiful of all the viruses. But they are also the most deadly. It's that dichotomy about the virus that I've always found fascinating. There is still much scientists have yet to discover about this virus.

Yes, you are right they have unique and beautiful morphological characteristics (as seen under EM). And this is just a begining,lot of discoveries are yet to be done, on this virus.
