Hello akshaya,

You can do MS in Biotech after BSc only in foreign nations. In India, you will need to complete atleast 4 years of education post 12th to be eligible for MS. You can do MS after BTech. But after, BSc you will need to enroll for MSc and then you can get eligibility for MS or MTech in India.

About career options: jobs are there in India, but for that you will need to work well on your academic and research profile from the beginning. Which means that you should opt for trainings every year and work on good projects during 2nd, 3rd/final years of your degree. Apart from that, getting admission in a good college is very crucial (so appearing for competitive exams is also needed).

BSc vs Btech : BSc is a dedicated degree wherein your focus is more on the core field/subject. You will be studying subjects dedicated to biotech (microbiology/immunology/molecular biology etc). Engineering aspects are not covered/focused on in BSc degree. A Btech degree is technology oriented and aims at grooming you towards engineering aspects as well as research aspects of your field. It is more interdisciplinary (you will be studying Electrical engineering, Fluid dynamics, Thermodynamics, Computer applications; apart from the core subjects.
