I have been selected for admission in Joint MTech PhD programme in Agricultural Biotechnology in IIT Kharagpur. Thank you for your guidance.
Can you give me any idea regarding placements in Agricultural Biotechnology. How much scope does this subject has? I have gone through the syllabus and it is mostly botany based.

Please share if you have any idea regarding this.

Agri-biotech is a good field, especially for the near future wherein food crisis would be one of the top-most challenges to deal with. It's a great area to do research and its scope also lies more in research than in industrial jobs. Government jobs and scientific positions would be easy to grab after this course. IARI would be glad to have you after your PhD

Don't loose the opportunity to associate with DAAD Universities while doing your JMP.
