Hello Sir,

I have been shorlisted for interview/counselling  at IIT Guhawati, MTech Rural Technology.Could you advice me regarding 

1. The course ( As the website is still undone, so very less information is present)

2. Its the First Time IIT Guhawti has introduced this course., So what are the future prospects of the same

3. Also what can I expect to be asked in the interview round.

You should go for the course (more importantly because of the fact that this is the first time ever for IITG and they will try their best to place the first batch well).

About the interview, just stay confident and link your academic profile (biotechnology) well with the rural sector. Study all the instances where biotechnology can come to use for improving the standards of rural life (Nutritional food product development for malnourished children, biogas, importance of sanitation (and developing products related to that), water purification techniques, high grade seeds for agriculture, etc) can be discussed during interview to reflect your clarity of thoughts for this course.
