I got 115 as answer, anyone else?    i too got 115
From 1 mole glucose, 0.25 mole ethanol is being produced (i.e. 25 % subtrate conversion into ethanol. So considering 1800 gm glucose fed to organism, 450 grams ethanols should be produced. Correct me if I am wrong.

If I am not wrong, Sn=(a1/1-r)-1
But what is the value of r? Please solve it.[Image: 983f963f89895b075df06756d41dad27.jpg]
pi r^2 h
pi(1^3 + 0.5^3 + 0.25^3 +.................)
pi(1^3+(1/2)^3 + (1/4)^3 + ...............)
pi(1^3+(1/8) + (1/8)^2 + (1/8)^3+.....) use formula (1-x)^-1
 here x=(1/8)

final answer 3.59 something

See first progeny's relationship ... Nither male affected nor female.... Its give prf of y linked inheritance
Sorry sngm....I can't get you... Would you like to detail?
I considered the case when the parent female and all the 1 St generation females are carrier.....
(02-16-2017, 10:22 PM)sngm Wrote: [ -> ]It is also confusing ....
In this 2nd and 3rd is confirmed bt 1st ...i guess...
case 1 if you consider x linked recessive for the affected male then none of the males should be affected in the first generation

case 2 if you consider both the parents to be affected by x linked recessive , then females will get affected too.
so  i think the answer may be y linked alone..
