I would recommend you to prefer Foreign Publications for your regular study but you can refer these books for mock tests and for previous year questions and to know the exam pattern

As per gate syllabus , i studied in books.
But gate previous year questions not directly to what i m studied. My way of studing is good or not

Gate 2018 is conducting by iit Guwahati.iheard that every year more weightage questions are asked from the research interest areas of the conducting institute.
Sir,can you please suggest the topics which are to be focused more .
Also please suggest how many months of preparation is necessary to crack gate.
