My son is studying +2 ( Maths, Chemisty, Physics, Computer Science ). Whether he will get admission in B.Tech – Bio Technology in Government and Private Colleges in Tamilnadu?


How job scope in this field ?

Hello,

Whereas he can get admission in Biotechnology easily with his non-medical background, I would strongly recommend to ascertain his area of interest. If he is not interested in Biotechnology (and is just seeking a job), then it is not the field for him. If he has the interest, then getting a job will merely be a by-product of his interest and adventures in this field. Biotechnology in India seeks academic and research excellence to have a good career (which is not possible without having interest in this field).

no sir i dont think u can choose biotechnology after studying computer science in 12th......the student will face many difficulties in understanding the technical terms .
