Advice in Nanobiotechnology - adrijun - 07-18-2015
Hello
Next academic year I will be finishing my bachelor studies in Biotechnology. I was considering enrolling in a master's degree in Nanobiotechnology at Aalborg University (Denmark), but I was wondering whether it would really be my piece of cake. I have never felt much inclined to work with animals or full organs. It's plain to see that Nanobiotechnology focuses on the nano-scale structures, but if I ever had to research by employing some laboratory animals, though I think in the end I could get to handle it, I wouldn't feel very comfortable (and that's why since the beginning I considered specialising in Industrial or Environmental Biotechnology).
So I would be much obliged if you could tell me whether an expert in Nanobiotechnology has to work very often with animals or if it is merely in incidental events or in any occasion at all.

you would rarely 'get to see an animal/organ' in lab, let alone 'touch them'
So, you'll be comfy in nanobiotech....dont worry!
