So I told u to approach AIIMS, I can't tell the lab as so called admin messeged me not to give personal n specific info here

I guess the "so called" admin must have suggested everyone not to share their personal information like mobile numbers in public. This will only help everyone to avoid undesirable calls.

The kind of information you are talking about already falls in 'Public Information' category as it is publicly available on AIIMS website already. So even if you share the contact person's/ lab's details here, it won't be a problem.

And at the end of the day there is a private messaging option in the forum which can help us all for personal discussions about each others' contact details as well.

I must tell u Sunil with due respect that entering labs through website information is just near impossible and for say if I don't have any problem in sharing my personal contact no one should have. I have been into research since 2012 and trained around 25 MSc students in my lab, i never experienced that website info get u anywhere and I don't want to enter into messaging system as it can be a biased approach

I guess there is some misunderstanding. Sharing information about opportunities is always going to be helpful. Even I try to post the information as and when possible. I don't think admin or anyone on this forum would object to that.

But with respect to sharing of personal contact number of your own, (as an independent opinion), I would suggest against it unless you are open to receiving calls from everyone at anytime. It definitely should be a person's own decision to share or not to share his/ her own contact information. I hope no one is policing that here on the forum.

Sunil rightly said if I did the same with my personal choice I posted my email I'd here but some person had problems with it as I got personal msgs from him if u want I can share screenshots

I didn't give you threats.It was just a polite suggestion when you shared your Email ID for personal discussion in response to a query and I didn't force you for anything. I don't know what you want to prove and what harm I have done to you by doing this? Why are you making a mountain out of a molehill?
What will be the use of forum if everyone will provide their email id against every query? If you think you can guide them properly then why don't you bother sharing your knowledge on forum itself. It will help multiple people out there.

U r contradicting ur statement by ur own, u said sharing personal info is unhealthy, I would say if I feel like sharing my email if person keen, if I am a scholar in a lab I have to keep my lab intellectual property also safe , so if anyone is interested he or she can email.....
