Hi Sunil sir, I got call from IITB for Me.tech in biomedical but I am not interested in biomedical and I have no knowledge of the field.. should I still appear for written test /interview?
My score is 497 (rank- 466). I think I will get call from other iits for my core subject i.e. biotechnology.

Dear gaurang,

Congrats for the call. Yes do appear for the interview if it is not clashing with any other IIT. There is enough scope for biotech oriented work in biomedical engg. Moreover, let the decision of choosing an IIT be kept for later stage once admission offers are in place. For now, don't miss on any option.

I got seat in NIT Rourkela through CCMT'17 (it was my choice no.1)
I filled my choices according to NIRF'17 rankings(its Rank is 12).. Should I confirm my admission there? Is it good institute? (for M.tech biotechnology)
Some people told me Surathkal is better even though surathkal is behind in ranking than rourkela.

I got M.Tech Industrial Biotechnology in NIT Surathkal (second choice) . Score (533). should I lock the seat or wait for my 1st option i.e IIIT Allahabad (Bioinformatics)? Please kindly tell me which one is better. Thank you.

ya me too got seat in rourkela biotech,which i locked as my first choice..i am also confused should i freeze or go for nit surathkal industrial biotech(my second choice)...
