Hello everybody

I was wondering if anyone could help me by adivising me wich fully funded european scolarships exist that are not so exellence orientated but more for developing countrys and for those students with social needs. I really cant aford studying biotechnology in Manchester and paying over 20 000 euros a year, nor in Slovenia where a year is 4000 euros.

I applied in the ICGEB trieste center but unfortunately their biotech group is full, and I really dont want study any other genetic field that can be studyed at Trieste. I am completing my master in genetics in Sarajevo but my country cant facilitate any reall biotechnology studies so my master is more population genetics orientated so I am desperatly trying to find any phD scolarship in western Europe wich can give me the know hows wich I could use to improve my home country biotech situation.I would love to know how to create a pilot production in biosimilars on a small experimental scale that can evenutally grow in production.

I am interested in the recombinant or gen engineering aspect of Biotechnology wich emphasises on genetics. My bachelor degree is in medical laboratory technology so I would love to utilize the knowledge in red biotechnology for production of pharmaceutical products like insulin or interferon etc. Maybe for now I am not harboring a vast amount of knowledge in biotechnology but I am highly motivated in pursuing my goal.

I would also be grateful if someone could recommend me some Ebooks wich could give me a good intro in the recombinant aspects of biotechnology.

Looking forward for replys

Cheers and all the best
