Hi Prabh!

Well, having done MSc in Biotechnology, it completely makes sense to opt for PhD. But, US based Universities have stringent cut-offs and eligibility requirements both in terms of your academic record and GRE (if you are eyeing for Scholarship based admission, otherwise there are good chances if you are comfortable with financing yourself). Still, your academic record and GRE do matter. Please share your academic details, so that I can specifically guide you about the Universities that might suit your profile.

Best wishes

Dear Shabnam,

The eligibility criterion (for Scholarship based admission) in any US grad school is more or less same. They look for top level academic record, among top GRE score, a very strong SOP /Letter of Motivation, accompanied by strong letters of recommendations. But, it very much depends upon the school you are aiming for (and obviously your academic and research record). If you can provide me your academic record details or your choice of school you are aiming for, then I can help you better, I believe.

My previous post (as I mentioned before), should be useful to you: Aiming a PhD in US?

Hope it helps you

Thanks and Regards

Sunil
There are wide opportunities in USA but it require some local training and experience to get the higher post in this field. There are some institutions in Australia providing certificate iv in frontline management for graduates.
