Modification of transcription factors to increase the compound's yield
#1
Hello there! I am preparing a phD project and need some advices about the Methodology. I want to test how modification of certain (characterised) transcription factor could improve the natural compund's yield in plans in vitro systems where the presence and activity of this TF has been demonstrated. However, I do not know exactly which could be the right approach to optimize the yield throughout TF-modification. Is this related to different envioronmental conditions that we can vary in order to asses the in vitro cells response (production)? or is more related to transformation activities in these cell cultures (e.g. to insert 'again' this TF in the cell cultures? Any advice, explanation and reference is welcome! Thank you very much in advance.
