Syllabus - JNU Biotech (CEEB)

There is no defined or prescribed syllabus for JNU biotech entrance examinations. The Question Paper for Entrance Examination will be divided into two main parts:

PART A will have question at the level of 10+2 level carrying a total 50% marks. This part is subdivided into sections I, II, III. While Section-I will have question from physics and chemistry and must be answered by all candidates, section II will have question from Mathematics and section III will have questions from Biology. Students have option to answer question from either section II or Section III

PART B carrying the remaining 50% marks will cover questions upto Bachelors level from all or some of the areas indicated below :

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (both palnt and animal). There could be a posibility of change in the pattern and designing of the question paper.

And there is no need of coaching. You can crack the exam on your own by studying regularly and don't forget to see the previous year question papers. They will help you to know the pattern of the exam

Dear sir,
I am shoaba akhtar, btech biotech 2nd year student.
Sir i am new to this field and don't have much idea about the course, entrances, and syllabus. I have heard about gate and want to start preparing for it from now onwards. But i don't know how to start? From where to start? I don't even understand the syllabus of gate when i look for it. It appear to me like they have mention topics to prepare. Sir I read your article about books to follow and buy book for bioprocess engineering by doran to prepare it by myself in this summer vacation. And I know it will appear stupid to you but I want to ask that do I have finish this whole book? I mean there are so many topics like enzymes, plant cell, animal cell,  bio informatics, immunology etc. And if people complete books for all these topics then how come they complete there gate syllabus in last semester or year and secure a good rank. I am really confused. Please guide me. And reply as soon as possible
